Golden Rivers Championship - Province of Golden Rivers (Sacramento, CA)
It is time once again to choose a new Lord and Lady of Golden Rivers. Come and join Viscountess Annora Raines and Baron James Skalli in a day of fighting and fun. The Lord and Lady of the Swan will also be holding Their Princess' Champion, Banner Bearer and Rapier Champion tournaments on this day. The weapons styles /tourney styles will be somewhat different for these tournaments, so please watch the Yahoo group for details.
The Bard of Golden Rivers Competition will also be held that evening during the potluck. The current Bard has issued this challenge, if you were at GRAB, you are entered in the competition. It is 1 piece, bard's best. Be prepared!
There will be a sideboard style feast served after the tournaments are completed. It will be a soup, meat dish, veggie, bread and dessert. You can bring extra food if you would like. The Arts and Science competition will be hats and caps (documentation required).

Start Time: 9:00 a.m. End Time: 10:00 p.m. Tournaments start at 10:30 a.m. sharp.
Site fee: $8, children 5 and under are free.
We are using the field closest to the street this year. Please bring wet weather cover if you have it.

Directions: Take Hwy 50 the Watt Blvd Exit. Go North. Turn right at Fair Oaks Blvd. Go 5.4 miles. Turn left on Grant Ave. The park is on your left side. Turn left into the first driveway. Park behind the clubhouse.
