Our Champions and their Ladies invite all to join us once again as we celebrate the Anniversary of Golden Rivers with a grand FEAST. This year's menu is Andalusian, based on recipes from A Miscellany by Cariadoc & Elizabeth, and our cooks are Caoilinn Rose Maddox, Moira O'Connor, Katrina Yarbrough and Tuathflaith ingen Maedoc. Expect an evening of tasty and savory delights!
The hall will open at noon with Arts and Sciences classes and competitions for all to enjoy! We will also have an auction to benefit the Province and the annual Toys for Tots collection. If you have donations for the auction, please contact the autocrat or the seneschal. We also happily welcome volunteers both for setup and tear down!
First Course: Tharda with Chard (Soup), Zabarbada of Cheese (Dip), Folded Bread from Ifriqiyya (Flatbread)
Second Course: Roast Meat (Seasoned Beef), Tharid (Chicken with a creamy garlic sauce), Isfanakh Mutajjan (Spinach side dish)
Third Course: Tuffâhiyya (Apple and Lamb Stew), White Karanbiyya (Chicken and Cabbage), Rizz Hulw (Sweet Ginger Rice)
Dessert: Cheese and Flour Cake (Cheese pastry), Hais (Date balls), Khabisa with Pomegranate (Almond and Pomegranate balls)
