To the Archers and Good People of the Realm, this Invitation is issued! Come join us for a walk in the Green Wood and enjoy the delights of hunt and feast. The call of Sherwood Forest has inspired us to have the Third Annual Odd Bodkins event in May of this year and so we have prepared archery games and will feast on the 24th of this glorious month.
We have room enough for 35 revelers, but you DO need to contact our Autocrat to ensure your participation.
This site is on private property with limited parking, thus carpools are encouraged and an RSVP in advance is a must. This event will open at 10:00 am, and the archery games will commence at 11:00. Do arrive in plenty of time to meet and greet friends and to hear the necessary instructions for the shoot. There will be a prize table celebrating the most excellent aim of the archers participating.
Bring what you need for your lunch provisions, but the dinner feast will be pot luck, with the meat course provided by our hosts. The feast will commence between 5:00 and 6:00 pm depending on the needs of the day.
Please indicate if you will join the potluck in your RSVP. Potluck contributions are suggested below using the first initial of your SCA given name:
- A-I nibble or appetizer dish
- J-Q dessert
- R-Z side dish
In addition, Friar Tuck has issued a culinary competition wherein you may produce any food or drink of your choice, so long as one of the ingredients be honey. The populace will determine the prize winner(s). As previously, period board games and rules will be available for those not participating in the archery, and performances by all would-be harpers are always welcome.
The site will be closed by 8:00 pm. Drinking water is also provided on site.

Make your best way to Highway 101.
From the South, exit Shiloh Road in Windsor and turn left. Proceed to end of Shiloh and turn right onto Windsor Road. Go 0.8 mile to Reiman Lane and turn left. At the end of Reiman Lane turn left onto Starr Rd. The house will be on the right.
From the North, exit Downtown Windsor and turn right. Proceed to Starr Road and turn left. Continue to the address, the house is on the right.
