"Long and Short of it" Archery Tournament

Saturday October 18th, 2014
Windsor, California

Second Annual Odd Bodkins “Long and Short of it” Archery Tournament . The Odd Bodkins of the Shire of Caldarium cordially invite you to join us October 18th in a private vineyard setting in the hamlet of Windsor for fun, games and archery, followed by a potluck feast. The day will consist of a Novelty Archery tournament featuring targets both quite near and very far. The theme for the day is "The Princess Bride" If time permits, a Royal Round will be included as well. Fun and games can be enjoyed by those not participating in archery. Period "board" games will be available. A dessert cooking competition will be held for all to enter their best effort (documentation encouraged, but not required) to be judged by the populace. Extra points for basing your dish on "The Princess Bride" theme. Bards and fledgling entertainers will have the chance to play, sing, recite or tell stories in public for fun and practice rather than competition, so bring your songs, stories and rhymes! There will be a variety of prizes presented in different categories as added incentives.

Please indicate if you will join the potluck in your RSVP. Our host is providing meat. Potluck contributions are suggested below using the first initial of your SCA given name: A-I side dish, J-Q nibble or appetizer food, R-Z desert.
