Directions to the site: No roads in. No roads out. Capture a dragon (they are free to come and go here) and travel to the top of the known world. Ensure that your dragon comprehends to return for you. Be aware that fluctuations in weather may delay your dragon. Not common but known to occur because dragons aren’t stupid.
Barrow (Utqiagvik) is only accessible by air and is on the shores of the Arctic Ocean. Be aware that weather delays may affect travel in and out of Barrow (Utqiagvik).
Take best route to Airport Way, Fairbanks. Go north on Noble St. Site is on the left at the corner of 11th Ave and Noble St.
From the South: I-5 North to exit 668/ Balls Ferry Rd. Turn right onto Balls Ferry Road to Stingy Lane where you will make a left. Continue to Rupert Road (stop sign) and turn right. Follow Rupert into the park. Watch for signs, the entrance for the hall parking will be on the right.
Take your best way Airport Way towards the Fairbanks International Airport. Turn right onto Hoselton Road (the frontage road leading to and in front of Pike’s Waterfront Lodge). Go past Pike’s Waterfront Lodge and the Princess Hotels. Turn left onto Pike’s Landing Road. There is a wooden sign marking the driveway entrance to the site on the right hand side after about 100 feet. There will also be SCA signs indicating your path.
From I-80 and North of Reno: At the junction of I-80 and US-395/I-580, go southbound toward Carson City. Continue south through Reno for about 10 miles and take 57B onto US-395 South. Continue onto Old US-395 South for 2.9 miles. Turn left onto Rhodes Road and your destination is on the left after 1.3 miles, Meadow View Farms.
South from Carson City and beyond: Take US-395 North toward Reno. Take exit 50 onto Old US 395 and turn right onto Old US 395 N. Continue for 7.1 miles and turn Right onto Rhodes Road and your destination is on your left after 1.3 miles, Meadow View Farms.
From HWY 101 :
Take Hwy 101 to exit 555B onto CA-20.
After 19 miles at the roundabout, take the first exit onto State Hwy 29.
Stay on Hwy 29 for about 30 miles. State Hwy 29 ends at Lower Lake. Go straight through the light onto Main Street.
In about 1000 ft, take a left onto Adams Street.
Turn right onto 2nd street and the destination is on your right in about 300 ft.
Take your best route to Quincy. Do NOT use your GPS, Garmin, or other navigation device, or you may end up in the wrong place! Once in Quincy, go through town to the fairgrounds. There will be SCA signs.
