Mardi Gras Mask & Dessert Revel - Provence of the Silver Desert (Reno, NV)

Come & join the populace of the Silver Desert in festive indulgence as we shake off the drab of winter in the tradition of Mardi Gras!

We will be having a dessert competition in three categories: Period (with documentation), Mock-Medieval, & Your Favorite. 

Bardic Contest: Song (filk or your own composition) Poem (theme is "Coming of Spring").

True Story of Your Experience at Tournament (either as a participant...fighter or consort...or an observer).

Duct Tape Mask Competition (to be done on site).

Ring Toss

In addition to games, there will be the wonderful fun of dance.

Site open: 5:00 p.m. Site close: 10:00 p.m., but dinner is on your own, so feel free to bring your meal & enjoy the fun and revelry.

There will be no site fee, but we will be asking for & welcoming donations to help defray the costs of the site & non-alcoholic drinks.

Directions: From either north or south US 395, take the Damonte Ranch Parkway exit #59, head west toward the Sierras on Damonte, bear right onto Arrowcreek Parkway, turn left onto Wedge Parkway. The Library is on the left (the large yellow building).
