Come one, come all to the Barony of Eskalya Newcomer’s Festival, a day devoted to newcomers! It’s that time when we show off the skill and customs of our Barony. The Sister Baronesses of Eskalya, Clare and Cynehild, invite all to join them in their court. Marvel at the sheer power of our fighters, both Heavy and Rapier, as they engage each other in combat. Who will be awarded with the best death? Artisans please bring a display of the crafts you make, both complete and in progress. There will be a thrilling round of Stomp the Duck followed by a potluck feast. For the potluck bring a dish enough for your family plus a few more. The Barony will provide the meat dish. Seek the wisdom of ages past in one of the classes that will be offered. The Arts and Sciences competition is best documented example of a medieval remedy and basket weaving.

From North and East make your way to Northern Lights Blvd., proceed West to UAA Dr. Turn left (South) on UUA, then take the first left into Goose Lake Park.
From South and West make your way to Northern Lights Blvd., proceed East to UAA Dr. Turn right (South) on UUA, then take the first right into Goose Lake Park.
Proceed to the far end of the parking lot. We will be in the shelter seen straight ahead.
