Harvest Feast

Event type:  Fall Themed Pot-Luck, A&S,  Rapier Tourney, and Heavy Practice. Please join us for a day of fun and revelry in the Silver Desert at our fall Harvest Feast. Come test your turnip carving skills with a turnip carving contest and bring your best fall dish from your period/region.  There will also be an A & S competition for best early period headwear and a bardic competition, enter a song, poem or story about the colors of fall.  There will also be a Rapier tournament and heavy practice afterwards.  There will also be a word game.  At the door  you are given a word and the game is to guess what it means, if you guess correctly you are given the word and the person with the most words wins. There will be prizes for each of the competitions.

Instead of a site fee we ask that you bring canned goods to be donated to the food bank.

From East Take I-80  to exit 15 to merge onto Highway 395 N, Take exit 73 for Golden Valley Road, take slight right onto Golden Valley Road, and the 1st left is North  Hills Blvd. The North Valley Library is on the right. From the West and South: Take your best route to Reno, Nevada and Highway395 North (which runs through the middle of Reno). Go north on Highway 395 and follow the directions from the East. From the North: Take your best route to highway 395 heading to Reno, Nevada. Take US-395 S to Lemmon Dr in Reno. Take exit 74 from US-395 S. Turn left on Lemon Drive, Turn Right on Buck Drive,  and turn right on N. Hills Blvd. (about .7 miles to site)..
