Whiteshield Tournament and Feast

Saturday March 15th, 2014 to Sunday March 16th, 2014
Tres Pinos, California
Lords & Ladies! You are invited to join the Barony of Darkwood at the 2014 White Shield Tournament. White Shield is the only event in the Kingdom where sitting royalty may fight.
Marshal Arts: There will be Fighting! Heavy fighters and Rapier fighters will be squaring off for a white shield blank and for Darkwood Champion. The Baron and Baroness also encourage cross field challenges. What does this mean you ask? If you are a Heavy fighter but also are trained in Rapier, we would love to have you bring both sets of gear and challenge a Rapier fighter, and vice versa. We will have the Principality Archery Shoot, and Thrown Weapons. If you ever wanted to become a Marshal in Thrown Weapons, NOW is your chance!!! In lieu of Roses, the Baron and Baroness will have Ribbons of Valor. If you see someone who is the epitome of Chivalry, Honor, Valor...ect you will have the opportunity to present said observed Virtues with a Ribbon of Valor. We will be starting our day of fighting off with a “Bar room brawl”. More info to follow.

Darkwood Needs your $$$

If you are not staying for the feast, have no fear! We will be having a Soup Kitchen to feed the hungry populace, by donation. All proceeds benefit the Baronial Archery Fund. More information re: types of soup to follow
