Cynagua Winter Investiture

Their Highness's Cynagua , Prince Michael and Princess Sciath, invite you to witness the investiture of the heirs,  Lord of the Swan Walerich and Lady of the Swan Catriona.

For Noon repast, there will be a pot-luck sideboard for those who wish to participate.  To coordinate, please contact the autocrat. There are also many fine eating establishments in the area.

The evening meal will be a meat heavy German feast, with vegetarian options  prepared by Feastocrat Lord Guy Massyngberde. There will be 60 feast tickets at $10 a piece available on ACCEPS' if any tickets are unsold through ACCEPS, they will be available at gate. Children 5 and under  will eat free.

Events include:

 A & S Display to be judged by populace, coordinated by Her Excellency Mistress  Anastasia Grindstead.

Copper Spoons competition the theme will be the element of Air, what we breath and what all living things need to live. A dish that is light as Air or made with something that was cured by Air.  Any SCA time period, any known culture, documentation is required.  All entries need to be at the Copper Spoon table by 1;00 pm and retrieved by 2:20 pm.

Brewers Guild will have a mead and wine tasting to be held after step down court

Her Highness is also sponsoring a School Supply Drive to benefit Woodland Schools and will have a table set up for collection during the event.

The evening celebration shall round out with socializing,  dancing and game playing, such as chess and other board games.

Directions: 

From the North, South or East, take I-5 to Woodland. Take the Hwy 113 North Yuba City exit. **At the light, turn left onto East Street. Just past the rice mill, turn right onto Kentucky Ave. Take the first left turn onto Palm Ave. The lodge is the big white building on the left, with a big blue square and compass on the front. There is parking behind the building. From the West (Bay Area) take I-80 to Davis and take Hwy 113 North to Woodland. Hwy 113 will merge with I-5 North. Take the next exit, Hwy 113 North Yuba City, and proceed as from ** above. (Parking can be found in the back of the Center and on the street. Ride sharing is suggested).
